The Garrett Mission

Our mission is to identify, acquire and either develop or enhance properties in order to create quality residential, commercial and mixed-use communities that, when development and economic constraints allow, incorporate alternative transportation, pedestrian-orientation, green construction and set-asides for land preservation, while providing our investors an optimal combination of risk and return.

"Smart growth requires great vision from government, citizens, and the development community."

        Andrew Garrett President

The Garrett Companies (TGC) is a fully integrated real estate company with operations in investment, acquisition, site planning, entitlement, development, construction, management, sales and leasing for commercial, residential and mixed-use communities. We strive to promote high quality communities with even higher qualities of life, balancing the housing needs of a growing population with desired amenities and land conservation and preservation. TGC's project portfolio is concentrated within close proximity to our home office in Stafford County, Virginia, although our holdings include projects throughout northern Virginia, southern Maryland, and Washington, D.C., as well as North Carolina, Georgia, Kentucky and Ohio. TGC invests its time and energies in projects which serve and enhance the local community after careful consideration of the suitability of the property for a given area and due review of market, site, and financial analyses. Utilizing its collective vast expertise, TGC is able to provide sound planning and successfully administer any size project through early planning, entitlement, development and final construction.
